New portal, who dis?
The new light-mode version of the Call Theory portal, coming this week!

We are publishing our new portal overnight Wednesday (into Thursday morning!) Learn more below. But before we get started, we have our normal weekly reminders.

Office Hours

Bring your technical and scripting issues to our weekly office hours and we'll help you get unstuck.

Call Theory Office Hours - Tuesdays at 3pm EST
Remember, we also troubleshoot/help with Amtelco Intelligent Series scripting during office hours!

Scripting Sessions

Another opportunity to learn Intelligent Series scripting from beginner to advanced.

New: During Scripting Sessions, you can also bring us any scripting issues you want or need help with for troubleshooting before training!
Call Theory Scripting Sessions - Thursdays at 12pm EST

Customer Portal Updates

We've updated the learn.calltheory.com platform with a variety of improvements for security, user-experience, subscription management, and even some new content.

Security That Doesn't Require Twilio

As previously announced, you can now use any modern TOTP Authenticator app when enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) instead of being forced to use Twilio's Authy. Two-Factor Authentication is now required for all user accounts, but you'll have a 3-day grace period before you get force redirected to enable it.

Standard TOTP Authenticator apps and backup codes are now supported
We've decided to set a new encryption key for the application, which invalidates all previous password hashes. This is done to take advantage of the ongoing improvement in security hashing technologies and key lengths. As a result, users will need to perform a password reset after the new portal is published.

Documentation Improvements

We've also added automatic site-wide light/dark mode, a scroll-to-top quick-link on long documentation pages, GDPR-compliant fonts, and automatically generated and organized navigation.

Fast(er) Access To Everything

The dashboard has been re-designed so that you have all of the important resources available in one spot, so you can easily see:

  • office hours,
  • scripting sessions,
  • emergency support number,
  • upcoming dedicated meetings,
  • the various support options available

Stripe-Powered Subscription Portal

You'll also find a new billing portal with subscription upgrades/downgrades, plan comparisons, payment method management, payment history, automatic proration, and of course: your invoices.

This is unrelated to our upcoming Call Theory Billing system - it's just an update for the Call Theory customer portal to better handle billing and subscriptions.

Registration "Wizard" (Air quotes intended)

For new customers, we've created a registration "wizard" to walk you through setup of your team, from creating your account all the way through enabling two-factor authentication.

Script Library Search Index Pollution

The Script Library was updated to separate the Amtelco Crystal Reports library to it's own sub-site, removing a bunch of "pollution" from the Script Library search index while still allowing a deep-search of the reports.

It's Finally Here?

And if you didn't see it, there's (finally) a new section for Video Training.

The Amtelco video training series is coming with this portal update!

This has been an immense effort to get going without requiring a price increase for hosting and bandwidth of video playback, but I think we've got a good system in place. This means no price increases for the new portal content, and it will be available for all tiers.

I can't wait to see what you all think!
